The positive point the article makes is that technology is making great advances making solar panels more efficient and more affordable.
I also recently read about the explosion of home solar panels in Germany on CNN.com. Germany is far from sunny California, and doesn’t have too much sun. Despite the odds, 55 percent of the world’s photovoltaic power is generated in this area.
