Home Solar Panels - a Hot Topic

The question on everyone’s mind is; “Can we afford home solar panels?” I think we need to start asking different questions. It’s not only about money, or convenience, it’s about our future.

There was an inspiring and positive article on ABC News website  today. The article compares home solar panels to an expensive German car. All of us desire a nice car - but few can afford it. The positive point the article makes is that technology is making great advances making solar panels more efficient and more affordable.

I also recently read about the explosion of home solar panels in Germany on CNN.com. Germany is far from sunny California, and doesn’t have too much sun.  Despite the odds, 55 percent of the world’s photovoltaic power is generated in this area.
