The article compares home solar panels to an expensive German car. All of us desire a nice car - but few can afford it. The positive point the article makes is that technology is making great advances making solar panels more efficient and more affordable.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also recently read about the explosion of home solar panels in Germany on CNN.com.
